Welcome!

Vegan Fife are a Community Benefit Society aiming to make sustainable, plant-based food more accessible in Fife.

About

Vegan Fife is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society. We were formed by a group of pals after the success of our Fife VegFest markets.

Our goals are to:

  • Inspire and enable individuals and institutions adopt sustainable, compassionate lifestyles.
  • Build positive engagement around vegan and plant-based diet and lifestyle choices.
  • Promote and support local vegan-friendly businesses and service providers.
  • Engage local authorities, businesses, and community organisations to advocate for accessible and affordable vegan options.
  • Provide meaningful opportunities for local people to learn about the impact of plant-based living on environmental sustainability, health, and animal welfare.

We do this by organising events, socials, workshops and training across Fife. We’re just getting started. If you’d like to be involved, please get in touch!

What we’re working on

Fife VegFest

We organise the popular vegan food festival, Fife VegFest. Our next events are coming up on 3rd May and 4th October 2026. Visit Fife VegFest for more information!

Training and support

We provide training and consultation to Fife-based cafes, restaurants, caterers and individual food workers about developing the plant-based options on their menus.

Our next training course will be on 16th March 2026. Find out more here.

Membership

We are newly established as a Community Benefit Society. We’re getting ready to take members, who can guide how we work and what we focus on.

Partnerships

We team up with other community organisations around Fife, and are building our network. In various capacities, we work with Plant-Based Fife, the Fife Communities Climate Action Network, Greener Kirkcaldy, and Pen Pals.

We are also connecting with vegan businesses around Fife and beyond to support each other in our work.
